Watermark v4.8.1 (08-01-2024)

The Nielsen Company has developed new NWE-TS software to provide the updated CBET TV v2 encoding, enhance reliability and improve the user experience. The new software continues to support all existing watermarking technologies and NWE-TS features.

The changes in the new software version include:

• Rollover problem; Fix range restriction time range (01/01/2027 cutoff)
• User document note regarding SID and CSID both not specified
• User document update for limitation to ATSC bitrate (19.3 Mbps)

Watermark v2.5.0.0 (11-16-2023)

The Nielsen Company has developed new NWE-3GA software. The new software 2.5 is based on 2.3 software:

• This release implements CBET TV v2 Technology; PPM for TV measurement encoding improvements
• Added further improvement for right channel loss of watermarking codes detecting and recovering dynamically
• Added new message to monitor the DSP software health
• Two Event Log filters have been added; Silence (off by default) and Non-PCM Audio (on by default)
• Fix a minor issue with the log file system.

The changes in the new software release version 2.5.0.0:

• Resolve range restriction time range (01/01/2027 cutoff)
• BUG FIX: Loss of Audio Cluster settings during upgrade
• BUG FIX: infosid versioning for Canada corrected • HDR 352 FPGA change
